Marilyn Monroe; No. 26
Andy Warhol took a relatively mundane medium, and made it iconic. Silkscreening became vibrant, even electric, in the hands of Warhol. People now relate as much to these images as they do the real Marilyn Monroe.
They were printed as a limited edition of 250 by Sunday B. Morning publishing in the 80s, and were immediately sold out when they were released. This is the 2nd Edition of this important series. The piece was exhibited in China's Fugian Provence in 2016.
